Pulikulam Bull

They are also called Jallikattu Madu, Kidai Madu and Sentharai. Pulikulam cattle are commonly seen in the Madurai’s cumbum Valley, in the province of Tamil Nadu.

 They are usually small. Pulikulam cow are gray or dark gray in color along with red or brown spots in mouth, eyes . There horns are curved backwards , referring to the cows of Mysore. They also have well-developed hump. 

These varieties are mainly used for penning the  fields. They are very useful for agriculture. Pulikulam cows are active in nature and are very much useful for ploughing, but does not run very fast.
