Nili Ravi

A Nili Ravi Female

This breed is found in the Sutlej valley in the Ferozpur district of Punjab and Sahiwal (Pakistan) in undivided India. They originated around the Ravi River. The peculiarity of the breed are their eyes. Their heads are small, long, arched up and depression present between the eyes. They have very small horns and are well wound. The flocks are good for heavy bullock.
Milk production is from 1500 to 1850 kg per lactation.
